Am 12. November 2018 lädt das Theater ohne Probe zum hochkarätigsten ToPs und Gäste seit seiner Gründung.
Die Spieler von BATS Improv aus San Francisco sind dem Theater ohne Probe schon seit Jahren verbunden und so war es klar, dass wir mit Lisa Rowland und Rafe Chase unbedingt dieses Format spielen wollten, wenn sie schon in Berlin sind. Bei ToPs und Gäste stehen die SpielerInnen im Mittelpunkt. Wir plaudern über ihre Art und Weise, wie sie mit Impro umgehen und was sie daran bewegt. Daraus entstehen einmalige Szenen, unvergessliche Geschichten und eingängige Songs.
Zu allem Überfluss werden uns an diesem Abend noch zwei Größen aus der Berliner Improszene begleiten. Mit Inbal Lori begrüßen wir eine der Powerfrauen des Improtheater. Und mit Rob Rodgers von Scratch Theater komplettiert ein weiterer Langformspezialist den Cast. Als Gastgeber vom Theater ohne Probe spielen Uta Walter und Thomas Jäkel mit.

BATS Improv players from San Francisco have been close friends for years now, and since Lisa Rowland and Rafe Chase are in town, we cannot imagine anything more fun than to play with them. In our ToPs and Guest format, the guest players themselves take central stage. We will talk about how they approach improv, why they keep improvising, what moves and interests them about the art form. Their stories will, in turn, inspire unique scenes, memorable stories and hum-along songs.
But wait – there is more! Two other greats from Berlin´s international improv scene will also join in: Inbal Lori – a bundle of endless joy and energy – and Rob Rodgers of Scratch Theater, another wonderful longform specialist! Hosting players from Theater ohne Probe are Uta Walter and Thomas Jäkel.
